News & Updates
10/23/2025 — New Member: Len Rizzo
Warm welcome to Len Rizzo, who joins after a storied career in lunchtime leagues and a mean skyball that appears to obey no earthly law. Len has promised to bring his famous cooler. We are listening.
10/15/2025 — Falmouth Sand Reports
Unofficial readings suggest the Falmouth south‑facing sands are in excellent form. Bring ankle supports. The seabreeze is a gentle left‑to‑right.
10/01/2025 — Discretion Reminder
We publish only city/town names here. Ask your sponsor for precise meet points the day prior. If you post exact dunes, you buy post‑game muffins for a week.

Letters & Messages
From: "Coach P." (Worcester)
Len — welcome aboard. Your skyball drift looks like it studied philosophy. Please show the younger retirees mercy.

Reminder: if you correct my pencil, you keep the book. I still run the fastest side‑switch in New England. Be kind to your ankles.
From: "Anonymous Tipster"
Bring clothespins. They fix more than you think — nets, name tags, runaway napkins.

Tips & Know‑How
  • Warm‑up math: 10 calf raises, 10 ham curls, 10 arm circles, repeat twice. Your rotator cuff will send a thank‑you postcard.
  • Cold‑sand protocol: Thin wool socks under sand socks. Laugh now, thank us in December.
  • Wind reads: Toss grass (or imaginary grass). If it moves left, set right. If it doesn't move, you blinked.
  • Communication: Say a name before the ball knows it has one.
  • Knees: Nothing heroic. Sand forgives, cartilage does not.
  • Secret spots: Ask your sponsor. We only publish towns: Worcester, Seekonk, Rehoboth, Nashua, Northampton, Falmouth.
Food Ideas (Post‑Game & Cooler Craft)
  • Len's Joining Spread: Sliced oranges, jar of kalamata olives, pretzel rods. Simple. Effective.
  • Thermos Pairings: Lentil soup + lemon wedge. Chowder only if you promise not to share with the seagulls.
  • Sand‑proof snacks: Grape leaves, cheddar cubes, snap peas. (Crackers attract philosophy‑minded wind.)
  • Hydration: Water, water, and the backup water. Electrolytes if you pronounce it correctly.
  • Celebration bakes: Muffins travel better than cake. Blueberry is league‑neutral.
Reminder: Pack‑in/pack‑out. Leave the dunes cleaner than we found them.
